These Terms govern your use of our website and purchase of our products. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Products
- All items are handmade in Wales; slight variations in colour, weight and appearance are natural and not considered faults.
- Wax melts are designed for use in wax warmers only — do not burn directly.
- Candles are for burning on a heat‑resistant surface, away from drafts, flammables and out of reach of children/pets.
- Product images are for illustration only; actual colours may vary slightly.
- Weights are approximate: melts approx. 5g per cell; candles stated on product.
3. Orders & Payment
- Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is processed securely via our website; we do not store full card details.
- Orders are accepted upon dispatch confirmation — a binding contract is formed at that point.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g. pricing errors, stock unavailability).
4. Shipping & Delivery
- UK shipping only unless otherwise agreed.
- Dispatch: within 1–3 working days of cleared payment (Mon–Fri, excluding bank holidays).
- Delivery: Royal Mail — typically 2–5 working days after dispatch.
- Estimated times, not guaranteed; delays beyond our control are not our responsibility.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your specified address.
- If your parcel is lost/stolen, we will assist with courier claims but are not liable once marked delivered.
5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Your Right to Cancel
- You may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving reason.
- Then you have 14 days to return items to us at your cost.
- Items must be unopened, unused and in original packaging — hygiene seals intact.
- Personalised/custom‑scented items are non‑returnable unless faulty.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
- Notify us within 7 days of receipt with photos of damage/fault.
- We will offer refund, repair or replacement at our option.
- Return postage costs will be refunded if the item is confirmed faulty.
- We do not accept returns of items that have been used or burned.
Exchanges
- We do not offer direct exchanges; please return and re‑order.
6. Safety & Usage Instructions
- Keep away from children, pets and open flames.
- Never leave burning candles unattended.
- Do not add water to wax or warmers.
- Trim candle wicks to 5mm before every burn.
- Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Place warmers/candles on a level, heat‑resistant surface.
- If you have allergies/sensitivities: our products contain fragrance oils and essential oils — check ingredients list before use.
- Not for consumption.
7. Liability
- We comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, business interruption or personal injury caused by incorrect use of our products.
8. Intellectual Property
- All designs, logos, text and imagery on our site are property of Welshie Wax — may not be copied or used without permission.
9. Privacy
- We process your data solely to fulfil your order and keep you updated.
- We do not sell your data.
